AI Training for Sales Teams
AI training for a sales team is not the engineering curriculum with the code removed. It covers prospect research, proposal and email drafting, follow-up at volume, CRM notes and call preparation, using your own pipeline and your own material. No code, no jargon.

What you’ll learn
Research before the call
Turn a company name into a useful brief in minutes: what they do, what changed recently, who you are likely talking to, and what to ask.
Drafting at volume
Proposals, follow-ups and client emails that sound like your team rather than a template. The skill is the brief you give, not the tool you open.
Knowing when it is good enough
The judgement call that separates a team that uses AI well from one that sends embarrassing output to clients. We practise this on real examples.
A prompt set the team shares
Each session leaves behind prompts that work on your material, so the second week is better than the first and new joiners inherit it.
What the sessions cover
01
The research brief
A company name turned into a useful brief in minutes: what they do, what changed recently, who you are talking to, and what to ask.
02
Drafting at volume
Proposals, follow-ups and client emails that sound like your team. The skill is the brief you give, not the tool you open.
03
Tone and personalisation
Making the tenth follow-up of the day read like the first, without the copy-paste fingerprints clients notice.
04
CRM notes and handoffs
Call notes and account summaries fast enough that they actually get written, and useful to whoever picks the account up next.
05
The good-enough call
Judging when output is ready for a client, practised on real examples until the team agrees where the bar sits.
How it runs
Half day
SINGLE TEAM
One sales team, working on its own pipeline end to end.
Short series
ACROSS WEEKS
Larger sales floors: things get applied between sessions and real problems come back.
On-site
AHMEDABAD AND BEYOND
Sales teams in particular get more from being in one room.
What you keep
- A shared prompt set built on your pipeline
- An example bank of before-and-after drafts from the session
- The quality bar, written down and agreed
Who it’s for
For sales leaders who want the whole team using this, not two enthusiasts.
- Field and inside sales teams with high enquiry volume
- Pre-sales and bid teams writing proposals under time pressure
- Sales leaders standardising how the team works, not just what tools they have
- Customer success and account teams handling ongoing client communication
FREQUENTLY ASKED
AI Training for Sales Teams: common questions
Do you have experience training sales teams specifically?
Yes. Shivalik Group, an Ahmedabad real estate developer, brought me in for their IT team first, then extended the work to their Sales team on a separate track that is running now. The case study on this site covers it.
Which tools do you teach?
Whatever your team already pays for, usually ChatGPT or Claude, plus your CRM. The tool matters far less than the workflow. I will tell you if you are paying for something you do not need.
How long is a sales session?
A half day works for a single team. Larger sales floors usually do better with a short series so people apply things between sessions and bring real problems back.

THE ENGINEERING TRACK
What this looks like for an engineering team
Adoption across a company and adoption inside an engineering team are different problems. If your developers are the ones who need to change how they work, the hands-on track covers Claude Code, Cursor, agents and spec-driven development on your own repositories.

From ten IT sessions to a group-wide AI rollout
I ran ten AI training sessions for Shivalik Group’s IT team. The work then extended to their Sales team, and a second entity in the group is now onboarding. This is what that looked like, and why it grew.
