Claude Code Course & Training
A Claude Code course is hands-on training in using Claude Code as an agentic terminal partner: reading a codebase, writing across many files, running tests and handling git. I teach it privately or for corporate teams, working on your own repositories rather than a generic example.

What you’ll learn
Agentic terminal workflow
Drive Claude Code from the terminal to plan, edit across many files, run tests and commit. This goes well beyond autocomplete.
Large-codebase refactors
Use Claude Code where it is strongest, on long autonomous tasks and multi-file changes in real, messy codebases.
MCP & tool use
Connect Claude Code to your tools and data with the Model Context Protocol so it works inside your stack.
Guardrails & review
Approval modes, diff review and the habits that keep an autonomous agent safe in a production repo.
The curriculum, session by session
This is the ten-session arc the team programme follows, and the same material paced faster for private training. Every session runs on your own repository, not a sample project.
01
Claude foundations
What the model does well, where it fails, and why prompting is a skill rather than a trick. The mental model everything else builds on.
02
First runs in the terminal
The shift from chat to an agent that reads and edits files: navigating a codebase, scoping a task, and reviewing the first multi-file change.
03
Repository onboarding and CLAUDE.md
A CLAUDE.md written and committed to your repo during the session, so conventions are shared rather than living in one person’s head.
04
UI and frontend work
Driving visual changes through the agent, where output is easy to judge and review habits form fastest.
05
Skills and plugins
What can be packaged and reused rather than retyped each time, and where the existing ecosystem fits your stack.
06
Custom skills for your stack
Skills built live for your own recurring tasks. This is where the compounding starts.
07
Spec-driven development
Two sessions on the spec, plan and task loop, so larger changes stay reviewable instead of arriving as one opaque diff.
08
Live work on real tickets
Two closing sessions applying everything together on tasks from your actual backlog, with the accumulated setup in place.
How it runs
Private 1:1
PACED TO YOU
The full arc for an individual who does not want to wait for a team decision.
Team workshop
HALF OR FULL DAY
A working introduction for a whole squad, hands on keyboards in your own repositories.
Ten-session programme
WEEKLY, ABOUT TEN WEEKS
Full team adoption with real work applied between sessions. The format the case study describes.
What you keep
- A CLAUDE.md committed to your repository
- Custom skills built for your stack and recurring tasks
- An agreed review workflow for agent-written code
- A tool-choice framework across Claude Code, Cursor and Codex
Who it’s for
For people who write or ship software.
- Developers and engineering teams adopting AI coding

FREQUENTLY ASKED
Claude Code Mastery: common questions
Do I need prior AI experience to learn Claude Code?
No. You need to be comfortable in a terminal and with a codebase. The course takes you from your first run to confident multi-file work, and covers the prompt-engineering basics along the way.
Is this a recorded course or live training?
Live and hands-on, either private one-to-one or a corporate team session built around your real repositories, remote or on-site in India. It is not a pre-recorded video course.
Claude Code or Cursor, which should I learn?
Often both. Claude Code suits large multi-file refactors from the terminal, and Cursor suits fast inline edits in the IDE. The training covers when to reach for each.
How do you train a whole engineering team on Claude Code?
With a structured arc rather than a one-off demo. The programme I run is ten sessions, one a week, on the team’s own repositories: foundations, first agent runs, a CLAUDE.md committed to the repo, custom skills for the stack, then spec-driven development and live work on real tasks. I delivered this end to end with Shivalik Group’s IT team in Ahmedabad, and the full session-by-session breakdown is published as a guide on this site.
FROM THE PRACTICE
How this gets delivered, written up
WHERE THIS LEADS
What teams usually look at next
Cursor Mastery
Most teams that get fluent in Claude Code end up running Cursor alongside it, and the skill that matters is knowing which one to reach for.
Spec-Driven Development
The problem after fluency is scale: how a large change stays reviewable instead of arriving as one opaque diff.
AI Engineering Operating System
The rollout around the tooling, for when one fluent squad has to become a standard the whole organisation holds.
Where adoption and engineering meet
THE ROLLOUT AROUND IT
Training is the start, not the whole job
A team that learns the tools still needs standards, a prompt library, agreed workflows and a plan for the rest of the company. That is the AI Engineering Operating System engagement: assessment, workflow redesign and a 90-day rollout rather than a set of sessions.

From ten IT sessions to a group-wide AI rollout
I ran ten AI training sessions for Shivalik Group’s IT team. The work then extended to their Sales team, and a second entity in the group is now onboarding. This is what that looked like, and why it grew.
