A Claude Code course is hands-on training in using Claude Code as an agentic terminal partner: reading a codebase, writing across many files, running tests and handling git. I teach it privately or for corporate teams, working on your own repositories rather than a generic example.

The curriculum, session by session

This is the ten-session arc the team programme follows, and the same material paced faster for private training. Every session runs on your own repository, not a sample project.

    Claude foundations

    What the model does well, where it fails, and why prompting is a skill rather than a trick. The mental model everything else builds on.

  2. 02

    First runs in the terminal

    The shift from chat to an agent that reads and edits files: navigating a codebase, scoping a task, and reviewing the first multi-file change.

  3. 03

    Repository onboarding and CLAUDE.md

    A CLAUDE.md written and committed to your repo during the session, so conventions are shared rather than living in one person’s head.

  4. 04

    UI and frontend work

    Driving visual changes through the agent, where output is easy to judge and review habits form fastest.

  5. 05

    Skills and plugins

    What can be packaged and reused rather than retyped each time, and where the existing ecosystem fits your stack.

  6. 06

    Custom skills for your stack

    Skills built live for your own recurring tasks. This is where the compounding starts.

  7. 07

    Spec-driven development

    Two sessions on the spec, plan and task loop, so larger changes stay reviewable instead of arriving as one opaque diff.

  8. 08

    Live work on real tickets

    Two closing sessions applying everything together on tasks from your actual backlog, with the accumulated setup in place.

Claude Code Mastery: common questions

  • Do I need prior AI experience to learn Claude Code?

    No. You need to be comfortable in a terminal and with a codebase. The course takes you from your first run to confident multi-file work, and covers the prompt-engineering basics along the way.

  • Is this a recorded course or live training?

    Live and hands-on, either private one-to-one or a corporate team session built around your real repositories, remote or on-site in India. It is not a pre-recorded video course.

  • Claude Code or Cursor, which should I learn?

    Often both. Claude Code suits large multi-file refactors from the terminal, and Cursor suits fast inline edits in the IDE. The training covers when to reach for each.

  • How do you train a whole engineering team on Claude Code?

    With a structured arc rather than a one-off demo. The programme I run is ten sessions, one a week, on the team’s own repositories: foundations, first agent runs, a CLAUDE.md committed to the repo, custom skills for the stack, then spec-driven development and live work on real tasks. I delivered this end to end with Shivalik Group’s IT team in Ahmedabad, and the full session-by-session breakdown is published as a guide on this site.
